CASE STUDY
Viva East Rockabilly Weekender and Custom Car Show
A four-day music festival centered around the rockabilly music genre and the vintage car subculture.
Viva East was developed in late 2016 by Sliding Rock Promotions, LLC. This unusual event has grown from a concept to a 1500-person event bringing in bands, DJ's and attendees from all over the world and hi-end show cars from all over the nation and Canada. In addition to music and cars, the Viva East Weekender offers a large variety of vendors, tattoo artists, burlesque performers, pin-ups, swing dancers and fashion shows.
Sliding Rock contracted KPS very early in the planning process and together a brand was built. KPS spearheaded the creation of their logo, website, and social media presence. Once Sliding Rock selected the venue, KPS supported Sliding Rock in finalizing logistical details such as sound and lighting, pipe and drape and the catering. KPS recommended an online ticketing service, created the flyers, posters, banners, print and digital ads, magazine article write-ups and regular social media posting.
Additionally, KPS worked with Sliding Rock management to develop sponsorship packages to ultimately align with event sponsors such as, Budweiser, O'Reilly Auto Parts, Deep Eddy Vodka, PPG Paints, Mohegan Sun Casinos and Norwegian Airlines.
As a result of the diverse services that KPS offered to Sliding Rock Promotions, we were awarded a return contract for Year two and three.
